About Alessandro
When he was just 18, Alessandro picked up and moved to Venice to pursue his dreams. There, he not only got his bachelor's degree in Japanese Studies from Ca' Foscari University of Venice with flying colors, but he also went on to complete an internship in the famous Centro Italiano di Fukuoka. This incredible experience allowed him to expand his horizons and become part of a vibrant network dedicated to promoting Italy on the global stage. He was a key player in organizing and running local events, building strong relationships with the community members eager to learn about Italy and its rich traditions. Then, he moved to Hokkaido, where he got a job with a Japanese company as a Front Desk Manager. In this role, he was in charge of Public Relations and Human Resources. It was during this time that he really got to grips with Japanese, and he also learned a lot about the world of Italian food abroad. Then, to learn even more, he decided to go back to school for an MA in Cultural Anthropology. While he was studying, he got a job as a teaching assistant at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, where he helped out with Japanese and Japanese Literature classes. He also worked with Cultural Anthropology students, tutoring and advising them. After graduating with the highest honors, he moved to Germany to continue his education as a doctoral candidate.
