Most of the factors that contribute to learning a language are personal. This means that how much free time you can dedicate to studying a language outside of class, how motivated you are, and how well the learning materials and teaching methods suit your needs and learning style are all important. Other personal factors include how many languages you already know and how you learned them, how often you have been exposed to the language, and how close your target language is to your mother tongue. During the initial consultation, Alessandro will help you set realistic goals for your language journey.

It can be very difficult to stay focused on your goals when life gets in the way. Here are a few tricks to keep you from getting distracted. Combine your target language with your other passions. It could be a direct connection, or a cultural connection. Surround yourself with your language. You can set your devices or GPS to the new language, listen to podcasts and use apps and websites to find language partners. Create a daily plan with all your short-term and long-term goals and post it where you can see it every day.
